What a week…

Well it’s been a wild week in my part of the world.  The flooding throughout Queensland has effected all with many homes, businesses and lives lost.

I’m sure most of you would have seen the footage on tv so I won’t go into it, however I will say that the effects are wide reaching, and anything you can do be it donations or lending a hand I’m sure will be greatly appreciate.

Below are a few images from the weeks swell.  Unfortunately I lucked out and missed “the day” however I did have some fun getting back in and shooting from the water.

Also I got to test my latest bit of gear.  The Panasonic AF102, pictured here with a Nikon 600mm F4.  I will be posting more information on the camera and kit in the next week or so.

I haven’t shot much surf for a while so have been going through a few older sessions.  Looking forward to a bit of water time in the warmer months.
