MARK BROADBENT ACS IS A FREELANCE CINEMATOGRAPHER CURRENTLY BASED IN BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA AND AVAILABLE TO WORK WORLDWIDE

Mark’s journey in cinematography began at the age of 7 when he received his first camera—a blue Fisher Price 110 film camera. It was an instant connection, and while his equipment has evolved over the years, his passion for making images has only grown stronger.

Mark’s diverse credits span feature and series documentaries, commercials, drama (including two feature films), numerous music videos, and brand films. His work has taken him across Australia and around the world, with international shoots in the UK, Ireland, the USA, Samoa, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, PNG, the Solomon Islands, Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, Iceland, and even Antarctica.

In addition to his extensive traditional cinematography experience, Mark also specialises in underwater work across commercial and narrative productions.

In 2021 Mark became the 434th accredited member of the Australian Cinematographers Society.

With a personable manner, down-to-earth approach, and a can-do attitude, Mark has earned the trust and admiration of cast and crew alike.
